Vodafone’s promotional offer that let UK customers send free ‘Tweets’ by text to social networking site Twitter will end on 17th August 2009. From 18th August, UK customers will be charged at their standard SMS rate for sending Tweets, although receiving Tweets will still be free (subject to a ‘fair usage’ limit).
