The traditional red phone box goes mobile

London Calling mobile phoneHere's something for tourists, ex-pats and fans of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Remember When UK, which specialises in the sale of the UK's iconic K6 phone box, says it'll soon be selling a mobile phone that's based on the old red telephone box. The London Calling mobile phone is a tri-band GSM handset with has a 65,000-colour screen, a camera and WAP over GPRS. The on-screen wallpaper is preloaded with images of British landmarks, while the polyphonic ringtones include Rule Brittania and God Save the Queen. The phone will cost £85.95 SIM-free.
