Three UK makes it easier for electronics manufacturers to include a mobile connection

Three UK has signed an agreement with Macheen Inc, a US-based company that simplifies the process when device manufacturers want to include 3G connectivity ‘out of the box’. Manufacturing partners haven’t been announced but could include producers of laptops, tablets, sat-nav devices and portable gaming consoles. Macheen already works with Dell in the USA.

Richard Schwartz, President and CEO of Macheen, said “Device makers are looking to turn lower-margin hardware into constant customer connections - without the heavy lifting. That transition begins with simple, seamless connections to the cloud, followed by on-going offers of new content and services. We are seeing a significant improvement in both the purchase and connection rates for device makers who build in connectivity into their devices.”
