Twitter reaches 100 million users (and over half are mobile)
Micro-blogging service Twitter says it’s acquired 100 million active users in the last five years. More than half of these people log in to Twitter each day - and around 55% of those 100 million actively use Twitter on mobile devices.
The company also notes that 35 global heads of state use Twitter.
