Multi-million pound share sale for Carphone Warehouse co-founder

David Ross, who helped Charles Dunstone co-found The Carphone Warehouse, has just sold 4.4 million of his shares. That represented around 7% of his total shareholding, netting him in the region of £17 million and leaving him with over 58 million shares (just under 13% of the company).

Mr Ross left Carphone Warehouse at the end of 2008. He was recently appointed as a non-executive director of the British Olympic Association.
