Call prices more important than 3G and social networks

A suvey by I.T. company OpenCloud has found that most consumers consider call and text prices to be more important than 3G and social networking capabilities. Its recent ‘My Mobile Lifestyle’ survey of 1,000 consumers revealed that over 80% of them saw call and text prices as the most important factors when looking for a new phone. In addition, two-thirds of respondents said social networking applications were non-essential luxury additions – and only 5.5% said social networking applications were ‘extremely important’.
