Apple loses iPad design lawsuit in Spain

Spanish tablet computer producer Nuevas Tecnologías y Energías Catala, which is responsible for the NT-K range of Android devices, has successfully defended its products against Apple in court. It’s now seeking damages from Apple.

The report comes via the FOSS Patents blog maintained by intellectual property analyst Florian Mueller.

He points out that Apple has recently been granted injunctions under similar circumstances in Germany but has lost a design-related claim in the Netherlands.
