European Court of Justice rejects appeal against EU's roaming caps

The Court of Justice of the European Union has rejected an appeal by Vodafone, Telefonica O2, T-Mobile and Orange that claimed the European Commission was wrong to fix 'roaming' charges for mobile phones in Europe.

The claim initially went to the High Court of Justice of England and Wales before being passed to the ECJ in late 2007. It's ruled the EC's decision was both legal and appropriate.
