Google puts clickable phone numbers in mobile ads

Google is now offering advertisers the option of a 'click-to-call' telephone number in advertisements that appear on smartphones. Phone numbers in ads can appear as a hyperlink; clicking the link makes a call.

As with other Google ads, the advertisements and telephone numbers can be tailored to the phone user's location.
