Symbian Foundation officially launches

SymbianThe Symbian Foundation has officially launched today, complete with a new logo and a new (beta) community website. Plans to create the foundation were first announced in June 2008 with Nokia’s announcement that it wanted to turn Symbian Limited into a non-profit organisation that would make its mobile operating system available under a royalty-free licence.
