Vodafone 'Free Friday' offers mobile internet access

Vodafone UK is letting its customers browse the mobile internet for nothing today, Friday 27th November. The offer applies to 'pay as you go' and 'pay monthly' customers on a consumer price plan. The usual 50p per day rate won't be charged; customers with an inclusive data pack will not have the day’s browsing taken from their monthly limit. A similar offer is planned between Christmas and the New Year.

It's the first high-profile 'Free Friday' deal for a while. Although the company had run several 'Free Friday' promotions earlier in the year, these suffered some problems when a number of customers were charged for usage – leading to the promotions being suspended until technical issues were resolved. Last week's 'World Hello Day' offer was the first Free Fridays promotion for several weeks.

I have found a video which shows the reaction of the customers on this 'Free Mobile Net Day'. If I am not mistaken you can find it at this torrent search engine . Anyways, the reaction is rather positive.
