VAT demand threatens JAG

Mobile retailer JAG has been asked to pay four months of VAT payments in advance, which owner John George says is threatening the viability of the entire business. JAG restructured earlier this year and currently runs 75 shops, mainly in the south-west of England. 12 shops have already been closed to save money, although one has since reopened as a JAG franchise.
