Vodafone is closing its Vodafone.net email service

Vodafone is advising UK customers that the Vodafone.net email service is being closed next month. Vodafone.net is a combined email, fax and voicemail service that uses the '242' shortcode rather than Vodafone's standard 121 voicemail service.

Customers are being encouraged to activate a free Vodafone 360 email address, which will also extend the life of their old Vodafone.net address for nine months. However, Vodafone 360 doesn't support the fax and voicemail-to-email services, which are being closed down.

I don't remember getting the above notice of closure. Have I now lost all my emails? Many were for charity fund raising for Christmas 2010

You can contact Vodafone by calling 191 from your phone, via their website or on twitter.com/vodafoneuk - hope all goes well for you.
