Vodafone now offers mobile music from big 4 music labels

Earlier this year Vodafone announced DRM-free music downloads from three of the biggest music companies: EMI, Universal Music and Sony. It meant that customers could download tracks to their mobiles and then transfer them to their PCs and music players. Today Vodafone has added Warner Music to its list of partners, making it the first global mobile network operator to offer over-the-air DRM-free access to the combined music catalogues of the world's four largest music companies.

In addition, Vodafone UK is offering ten free music downloads on Friday 25th September to celebrate the new-look Vodafone Music Store and its “10 MP3 tracks for £5” bundle. [Press release; Twitter message]
