Vodafone Group has decided to reorganise its European businesses from October. The Northern & Central Europe and Southern Europe regions will be merged into one Europe region, while Vodafone’s Turkish operating company will report its results within the Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific region.
It’s just over a year since Vodafone decided to split its European operations into two parts.
Philipp Humm, currently Regional CEO for Northern & Central Europe, will become Regional CEO Europe. Paolo Bertoluzzo, currently Regional CEO for Southern Europe, will become responsible for Vodafone’s expanded Group Commercial function.
Vittorio Colao, Chief Executive of Vodafone Group, said “These organisational changes will allow us to improve the customer experience and develop our commercial strategy more quickly and consistently. I congratulate Paolo and Philipp on their new roles.”
According to Vodafone, the changes to its organisational structure are designed to ensure a more efficient and effective delivery of its ‘Vodafone 2015’ priorities.
