Vodafone sells its stake in Vodafone Fiji

Vodafone says it’s sold its 49% shareholding in Vodafone Fiji to the Fiji National Provident Fund for FJ$160 million (£51 million).

However, although FNPF now controls the Fijian network, it’ll maintain a partner agreement with the Vodafone Group. In addition, current VFL board directors will continue to serve on the board - although the company’s managing director retired on Monday after 20 years and was replaced by Pradeep Lal, the previous COO.
