The dictionary-defying merger between mobile software business Vringo and messaging company Zlango isn’t happening any more. Instead the two companies have signed a Cooperation Agreement that’ll see them working together while retaining their independence.
However, this doesn’t affect the planned $2.5 million venture capital investment in Vringo announced in July.
Roni Haim, CEO of Zlango, said “As our products continue to evolve, we look forward to strengthening our relationship with Vringo as a collaborative partner. We believe that both companies will benefit from this agreement.”
