We're rebuilding the Ovi app store, says Nokia

George Linardos, Nokia's vice president of Product, Media & Games, says the company is working on a new version of the Ovi Store. Current plans are to launch a revised store in Spring 2010 and then to replace any remaining legacy components with a 100%-new store in the summer.

Nokia also says it's delivering just under one million downloads a day via the Ovi store, with download numbers growing 100% month-on-month. The Ovi Store offers a wide range of content for mobile devices; as well as software applications and games there's also audio and video content. [Source: Mobile-Ent.biz]
