Livestand, the long-awaited ‘digital newsstand’ that was announced by Yahoo! in February, has finally launched on the Apple iPad. It offers a combination of third-party content, social media information and Yahoo! services in an application that becomes more personalised as it’s used.
US-centred Livestand will contain content from more than 100 publications and is powered by a mix of technologies that Yahoo! has named ‘Cocktails’.
