RIM delivers annual BlackBerry results with revenue growth

Research In Motion, the manufacturer of BlackBerry devices, has published its annual results for the fiscal year ending 27th February 2010. Revenue was up 35% year-on-year $15 billion, customer numbers were up 65% year-on-year to over 41 million, and BlackBerry shipments were up over 40% year-on-year to 37 million.

However, although shipments and revenue were up, a number of analysts were reported to have expected more growth from the company. RIM share prices fell by around 5% after the announcement.
