Nokia says no to Android - but possibly more Symbian Nseries devices

Anssi Vanjoki, now the company's head of Mobile Solutions, has published a blog post entitled "The fightback starts now".

In it, he stresses his commitment to returning Nokia to its position as the leading producer of high-end mobile devices.

He also addresses a number of rumours, saying the company only plans to use the Symbian and MeeGo software platforms – and doesn't intend to launch an Android device. In addition, he points out that, although the Nokia N8 will be Nokia's only Nseries device on Symbian^3, this doesn't mean there won't be an Nseries device running Symbian^4.
