Mobile phone customers from the UK have been warned about the increasing cost of making calls in Europe.

The UK's post-Brexit trade deal with the EU opened the door for mobile operators to reintroduce 'roaming' charges when customers travel abroad.

UK communications regulator Ofcom has fined O2 £150,000 for failing to provide accurate and complete information during an investigation. It follows a £10.5 million fine for the network earlier this year.

Ofcom, the UK's communications regulator, has published its annual customer satisfaction ratings for mobile networks.

Two of the world's communications giants have agreed to merge their UK operations. Liberty Global will combine its Virgin Media UK broadband network with Telefonica's O2 UK mobile business.

Entertainment company Sky has announced what it’s calling “the UK's most flexible mobile service”.

Customers with another Sky service will be able to sign up for Sky Mobile from mid-December, with a full launch expected in early 2017.
