Acer has announced two new Android-powered smartphones ahead of next week’s Mobile World Congress: the Liquid E3 and the Liquid Z4.
They are expected to be available in the UK from April.
The Acer Liquid E3 has a 4.7-inch screen, a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. It’ll run on a quad-core 1.2GHz processor and is expected to be priced at €199 SIM-free (£164, although UK pricing hasn’t been confirmed).
Meanwhile the Liquid Z4 smartphone has a suggested price of just €99. It offers a 4-inch screen, a 5 megapixel camera and a dual-core 1.3GHz chip.
Both handsets have a new version of Acer’s Liquid user interface, which allows app windows to stay open for easier multitasking, and support the free AcerCloud file sharing service.
