Orange UK now lets you top up with just 10p

OrangeOrange UK has launched a new ‘pay as you go’ option called Tiny Top Ups. It allows customers to top-up their phones with as little as 10p, which will allow them to send a single text message. Customers can take advantage of Tiny Top Ups by visiting an Orange store and adding cash to their mobile phone account.

To celebrate the launch, Orange will double any Tiny Top Ups made in Orange retail stores during March. There’s also currently a Twitter-based competition for followers of @ConorfromOrange.

Pippa Dunn, VP of Propositions for Orange, said “Tiny Top Ups make it easier for Orange Pay As You Go customers to top up using their loose change. It’s a big change to your small change; and with many people managing their personal finances more closely than ever, Tiny Top Ups will help people who are watching their pennies to stay in touch.”

The company says almost a quarter (23%) of Brits usually wait for pay day before they top up their mobile phones.
