HTC creates new global sales and marketing role

HTC Corporation has promoted Jason Mackenzie to the newly-created position of president for global sales and marketing. He’ll continue in his current role as president of HTC North America and Latin America until a replacement is announced.

Mr Mackenzie will report directly to CEO Peter Chou. He joined HTC in 2005 and has led HTC’s North America and Latin America business since 2007.

Peter Chou, chief executive officer of HTC Corporation, said “Under Jason's leadership, HTC has become one of the leading smartphone brands in the Americas. His attention to detail, focus on customer service and commitment to driving HTC's innovations across the region have been a testament to his sales and marketing management capabilities. In his new role, Jason is responsible for driving tighter integration and scale across our product portfolio globally.”
