Samsung renames its mobile business

Samsung Electronics has renamed its mobile business, which it says is "the start of a new chapter to accelerate innovation to offer more personalized experiences to its users".

The name change is from 'Mobile Communications' to MX (Mobile eXperience), reflecting the company's focus on customer experiences.

TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung's MX Business, said "We’re excited to announce the renaming of our business after decades of innovation and leadership in the mobile industry. We believe this name change will help us usher in a new era in mobile innovations where we can create even more exciting possibilities for Galaxy users."
