ViewSonic Europe has announced a ‘try for free’ promotional offer that enables customers to return their ViewPad 7 tablet if they’re not completely satisfied. The offer is available for purchases from 28th March to 24th April 2011. Dissatisfied customers are given 20 days to experience the 7-inch Android tablet; they then need to return the device within a 10-day window (i.e. within 30 days from the date on their invoice) for a full refund.  ViewSonic will also pay for the return postage and packaging up to £10.

James Coulson, European marketing manager at ViewSonic, said “There are many people that have heard about the new Tablet trend but for various reasons have not yet dived in. Working with Google, we want people to have a good first Tablet experience, risk free. Customers taking up the offer can use our devices for 30 days free of charge in order to overcome any initial learning curves and really start to appreciate the potential of Android on a great device. The ViewPad 7 is a perfect start into the world of touch technology.”

The ViewPad 7 runs version 2.2 of Android and can also be used as a mobile phone.

Mark Bridge writes:

The most memorable moments in life often go unrecorded. You don't have your camera in your hands. Your finger is still hovering over the 'pause' button on your audio recorder. Or you were simply too busy experiencing whatever was happening. It's all about the one that got away.

That's where Kapture can help.
