Danish mobile company Lumigon has extended its premium smartphone range with the T2 HD, a successor to the two-year-old T2.

The new handset has a stainless steel body, a toughened glass screen and is water resistant. It runs Android v4.4 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, supports 4G and is equipped with up to 128GB of memory.

Features include a camera with front-facing flash for ‘selfies’ and video calls, plus audio technology by Bang & Olufsen ICEpower.

Lars Gravesen, CEO of Lumigon, said “This phone is a piece of quality craftsmanship that we’ve built with care and passion. The materials used were carefully selected to be durable without losing their exclusive look and feel. You feel the quality clearly when holding the device in your hand. Therefore, we encourage everyone to feel the difference.”

Lumigon’s T2 HD will be available worldwide during Q2 2014. It’ll be produced in black, white and 24-carat gold versions with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal memory. Pricing is expected to start from €730 including VAT (around £600) in Denmark, which includes an intelligent dock and charger.
