Berg Insight has calculated that the global mobile marketing and advertising market will grow in value from €2.6 billion last year to €17.2 billion (£14.3 billion) in 2016, which is the equivalent of growing by 37% each year. This will correspond to 15.2% of the total online advertising market in 2016 and 3.8% of the global advertising spend across all media.

According to the report, a boom in mobile advertising is on its way. Longer-established digital companies are now competing with mobile OS providers, while Facebook is also on the verge of establishing its presence in mobile advertising.

Rickard Andersson, Telecom Analyst at Berg Insight, said “The popularity of smartphones and the increasing availability of mobile media that can include mobile advertising are the main game changers. Brands are now progressively embracing the mobile channel, including the entire range of apps from games and entertainment to utility applications. Also mobile web advertising and opt-in SMS campaigns are popular.”

Mark Bridge writes:

The most memorable moments in life often go unrecorded. You don't have your camera in your hands. Your finger is still hovering over the 'pause' button on your audio recorder. Or you were simply too busy experiencing whatever was happening. It's all about the one that got away.

That's where Kapture can help.
