Vodafone is the world’s most-valuable telecom brand

Independent valuation advisory firm Brand Finance plc has just published the 2009 edition of its BrandFinance Global 500 report on the world’s most valuable brands. Vodafone is the highest-placed telecomms company – in 8th place, up from 11th last year – while Nokia is in 13th place, AT&T is 14th, Verizon is 15th, China Mobile is 16th and Orange is 17th.

Brand Finance has calculated that the world’s most valuable brand is Walmart, with its global brand worth $40.6 billion.
