Tradedoubler has become the first affiliate network in the world to offer its UK clients a marketing solution that includes Apple’s Passbook application. It’s worked with mobile wallet specialist Passforce to integrate Apple Passbook into its performance marketing programmes for Tesco, The Body Shop, Seatwave and eFlorist.

Passbook allows consumers to store digital tickets, boarding passes, loyalty cards and coupons in a single app on their iPhone or iPad. The Tradedoubler solution will enable advertisers to follow up customers who’ve asked for a voucher, coupon or ticket after the customer has left the original web site. It’s even possible to remind customers that vouchers are about to expire when they’re walking past the relevant shop.

Neil Ranatunga, UK Head of Mobile at Tradedoubler, said “This is an exciting and unique proposition for our clients and a first in the performance marketing world. We now have the ability to help improve conversion, even after the customer has left an affiliate website. By driving more sales for our clients and more commission for our affiliates from the same level of traffic, we believe that Tradedoubler’s Passbook solution opens the door to a brand new way of improving brands’ voucher code performance.”

ExclusiveKapture review: the audio-recording wristband

Mark Bridge writes:

The most memorable moments in life often go unrecorded. You don't have your camera in your hands. Your finger is still hovering over the 'pause' button on your audio recorder. Or you were simply too busy experiencing whatever was happening. It's all about the one that got away.

That's where Kapture can help.
