Big-button Cat B100 rugged mobile phone launches at CES

Bullitt Mobile, which produces tough mobile phones and accessories under the Cat brand, has revealed the rugged Cat B100 handset at this year’s International CES show in the USA.

The B100 is a one-piece feature phone that’s protected to IP67 (dust/water) and Military Standard 810G. It has larger buttons that can be used when wearing gloves, a noise-cancelling microphone and a 1150mAh battery promising up to 10 hours talk time.

Other features include a 2.2-inch screen and a 3 megapixel camera.

Dave Floyd, Co-CEO of Bullitt Mobile, said “The Cat B100 is a practical and tough mobile phone, designed for people who demand ultimate reliability. Its rugged features, long battery life and talk time make the B100 an ideal choice for tough conditions. This is a phone that won’t let you down.”

Available in Europe from today, the B100 will be launched in other regions during the next few months.

Over the past couple of years windows mobile and CE mobile OS's from the group of focusing on mobility to the embedded group...confusing huh??
