UK-based mobile manufacturer Kazam, which was launched last year by two former HTC executives, has announced three new phone ranges.

These include the company’s first 4G LTE smartphone and five ‘easy to use’ feature phones.

The Android-based quad-core Kazam Thunder2 4.5L offers support for the 800MHz, 1800MHz and 2600MHz 4G bands. There’s also an updated 3G KAZAM Thunder2 5.0 and four new mid-range Trooper2 smartphones.

In addition, Kazam is introducing five new ‘easy to use’ feature phones in the Kazam Life range, with one ‘ruggedised’ to IP67. These handsets will include an emergency button for calling pre-programmed contacts.

James Atkins, Chief Marketing Officer at Kazam, said “It’s not enough to stand for one thing in the fast paced mobile industry, Kazam must continue to innovate in areas often overlooked by the competition. Kazam is taking a fresh approach to mobile and will continue to pose difficult questions and challenge convention.”

All of Kazam’s new phones will be made available across Europe, with country-specific announcements planned to coincide with local availability.

We spoke to James Atkins in our podcast on 29th November 2013. You can listen to the interview via the built-in audio player on our website or by downloading the MP3 file.

Mark Bridge writes:

The most memorable moments in life often go unrecorded. You don't have your camera in your hands. Your finger is still hovering over the 'pause' button on your audio recorder. Or you were simply too busy experiencing whatever was happening. It's all about the one that got away.

That's where Kapture can help.
