Sony Computer Entertainment says it’ll start the full-scale launch of PlayStation Mobile in the autumn. The service, previously named PlayStation Suite, will bring Sony PlayStation games to a variety of mobile devices. This initial launch will include Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, the UK and the USA.
Customers will be offered around 30 new titles when the service launches, although existing PlayStation (PS One) games will be withdrawn at this point. There’ll also be a PlayStation Mobile SDK for games developers.
In addition, ASUS TeK Computer and WikiPad have been confirmed as the latest companies to join the PlayStation Certified licence program. Previously, Sony and HTC were the only companies offering support for PlayStation Mobile gaming.
