Michael Halbherr, the CEO of Nokia’s location business HERE, is stepping down from his role at the end of the month. He says he’s planning to focus on his entrepreneurial activities in the future.
Dr Halbherr had been at Nokia since 2006, having previously held roles at companies including Boston Consulting Group, investment business Europatweb and mapping specialist gate5.
Cliff Fox, currently Senior Vice President of the Core Map Group at HERE, will become acting head of HERE from 1st September.

He has played a key role in making HERE one of the strongest players in its sector, with a depth and breadth that is unique. He leaves with my best wishes and the gratitude of all of Nokia.”
