Motorola patent battle reportedly forces Microsoft distribution from Germany

It’s reported that Microsoft’s patent dispute with Motorola Mobility has resulted in Microsoft moving its European logistics operations from Germany to the Netherlands.

Microsoft is currently being sued by Motorola Mobility over video-related patents, with a decision due on 17th April.

A decision against Microsoft in the ongoing German patent dispute could have seen Windows 7 software and Xbox consoles impounded.
