EE stops selling phones on the Orange website

Last week, Orange UK closed its online shop, online customer service and online account management, moving them all to the EE web site.

You might say the future is starting to look less bright for the Orange brand in the UK.

It’s now four years since the companies behind Orange and T-Mobile announced that their joint venture was to be known as Everything Everywhere, which was later transformed into EE.

Although Orange.co.uk is still available, it’s now just providing news stories, entertainment and sports updates.

Meanwhile, the T-Mobile UK website redirects customers straight to EE.

However, it’s not all over for those two long-established brands: tariffs and phones from Orange and T-Mobile can still be bought from EE’s high-street shops.
