'Orange Wednesdays' cinema deal to end in February 2015

EE’s ‘Orange Wednesdays’ two-for-one cinema ticket deal will end next year. The offer, which was launched by Orange ten years ago before becoming known as ‘EE Wednesdays’ after Orange and T-Mobile merged, is due to close on 25th February 2015.

A separate promotion that offered ‘two for the price of one’ meals at Pizza Express from 2009 is also being terminated.

In a statement, EE is quoted as saying “After 10 great years our brand has changed and our customers’ viewing habits have also evolved so it’s time to move on.”
