Google has augmented its Google Talk instant messaging app to include video and voice chat for Android phones. The new service enables consumers to make video calls over 3G or WiFi between phones or from a phone to a PC. Text chat from the person you’re talking to will appear in front of the video on your phone’s screen.
It’s available in the new Android 2.3.4 update, which will be rolled out to Nexus S devices in the next few weeks and will be made available to other Android 2.3+ devices later.
