$2 million investment for Masabi from m8 Capital

Mobile ticketing company Masabi is to receive a $2 million investment from London-based m8 Capital. The money will support Masabi's introduction of mobile ticketing on UK railways and will also be used for international expansion.

Masabi’s barcode ticket design has already been adopted by the UK Association of Train Operating Companies. The company plans to start rolling out its m-ticket service in partnership with thetrainline.com this year.
