500,000 books on your mobile

Google has created a special mobile version of Google Book Search, which lets international users read over 500,000 public-domain books (and over 1.5 million in the US) on their mobile phone. Unlike the standard Google Book Search service, the mobile version shows conventional text instead of displaying the original page of a printed book. [Google blog entry]
