Monday, December 5, 2011 supports web developers with new mobile device detection products

Mobile developers now have two new device detection databases to help them design and build mobile web sites. The services are being offered by, a Reading-based business that specialises in device detection, web optimisation and mobile analytics solutions.

Both files contain the latest mobile phone types, operating systems and browser configurations. One is a free, entry-level device file to meet basic mobile detection requirements, while the other provides a richer set of parameters including physical screen size, input type and recommended button sizes.
