The UK Department for Transport has launched a new advertising campaign that warns drivers not to send text messages when behind the wheel. 12% of all motorists – rising to 30% of young drivers – have admitted to texting when driving. A new radio ad launches on Monday, along with an online 'driving challenge' game.

A karaoke session yesterday evening featuring 13,000 people singing in London's Trafalgar Square will be turned into a TV ad that'll be shown tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV1. It's the latest 'Life's for sharing' promotional activity from T-Mobile, which is following its Liverpool Street station 'Dance' campaign by recruiting an even larger crowd.
