Everything Everywhere has announced a partnership with Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator Atmovia, which is part of the Viacloud Group.

It’s claimed that a new Mobile Virtual Network can be set up via Atmovia within just ten minutes.

Samba Mobile brings free ad-funded mobile broadband to the UK

A new UK virtual mobile network called Samba Mobile is promising a mobile broadband service without any running costs.

Customers pay £2.99 for a SIM card plus £2.00 post & packing and then watch video ads to ‘top up’ their account with credit. A 3G ‘dongle’ will be available in the future.

China Telecom launches CTExcelbiz virtual mobile network in the UK

Earlier this year we reported that China Telecom’s European subsidiary planned to launch an MVNO on the Everything Everywhere network, targeting Chinese residents and businesses in the UK.

The deal would be the first MVNO outside China launched by a Chinese telecom operator. 

The network, which is called CTExcelbiz, is being officially launched today in London. It’s a ‘pay as you go’ service and will will offer Chinese language voicemail services along with bilingual Chinese/English customer service. Calls between CTExcelbiz users will be free.
