Samsung Electronics has announced a global partnership with Italian coffee brand illycaffè for the two companies’ respective retail flagship stores.
Samsung equipment will be used in illycaffè flagships stores, while illycaffè coffee will be available in key Samsung showrooms and at special events.

Telecoms manufacturer Huawei has announced a partnership that’ll see it become the ‘Official Smartphone Partner’ of Arsenal Football Club.
The agreement runs until the end of the 2015/16 season.

Telecoms manufacturer ZTE Corporation says it expects its full-year financial results for 2013 to show an annual profit of between RMB 1.2 billion and RMB 1.5 billion (£120 million - £150 million).
That would be a significant improvement from last year’s loss, although it’s still not as much as the profit figure from two years ago.

Virtual mobile network The People’s Operator, which launched in 2012 and passes 25% of its profits to charity, has appointed Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales as a board member and co-chair of the company.
The London-based MVNO says the main role of Mr Wales will be “to drive the growth of a global community that connects as a force for good”. It currently offers SIM-only ‘pay monthly’ and ‘pay as you go’ services in the UK.
