The Geeksphone Revolution smartphone, which lets users choose between Mozilla´s Boot2Gecko platform or the Android operating system, is now on sale via Amazon in the UK, France, Germany and Spain.
It was originally launched in Spain two months ago.

Danish mobile company Lumigon has extended its premium smartphone range with the T2 HD, a successor to the two-year-old T2.
The new handset has a stainless steel body, a toughened glass screen and is water resistant. It runs Android v4.4 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, supports 4G and is equipped with up to 128GB of memory.

Microsoft has announced a handful of new and updated mobile applications, including the long-awaited launch of ‘Microsoft Office for iPad’.
This comprises three separate iOS apps - Word, Excel and PowerPoint for iPad - now available in the Apple App Store, along with an update to the OneNote app. The basic apps are free for viewing and presenting files.

Mobile payment provider iZettle has announced that its Chip & PIN readers are now available to buy from Maplin electronics stores across the UK.
The card reader, which allows users to accept debit or credit card payments via their smartphones or tablets, is being sold for £59.99.
