The mobile virtual network operator will be an important factor in the growth of 4G connections, according to ABI Research.
It's predicted there'll be 103 million 4G subscribers connected via MVNOs by 2016, up from just 3.8 million worldwide last year. Around a third of these 103 million subscribers will be from China and Japan.

Nomi-Call Limited, the company responsible for sales and distribution of Nomi Mobile SIM cards in the UK, has gone into administration.
The company's Facebook page currently shows a number of comments asking what's happened to the mobile network.

Nutshell Mobile, the virtual mobile network launched in the UK last March by industry veterans Gareth Jones and Gordon Webber, is reported to have ceased trading.
The company, which used the Three UK network, offered 'pay monthly' contracts to customers who were unable to pass credit checks for other networks.
