Three Wholesale, the business-to-business arm of Three UK, has partnered with ‘Over The Top’ service Nextplus to provide mobile numbers without a physical SIM card.

Communications regulator Ofcom has invited potential bidders to comment on its proposals to auction spectrum in the 2.3GHz and 3.4GHz bands.

New research from Samsung Electronics predicts that people in the UK will spend £104.7 million on wearable technology this Christmas, putting them ahead of consumers in Germany, Spain and The Netherlands.
That’s a 181% increase in revenue from Christmas 2013, with unit sales up 120.8% on 2013.

Leaving your wallet at home and going shopping with nothing more than your mobile phone is still a science-fiction vision of the future.
But it's getting much closer to reality, thanks to a UK-based company called Corethree. They're currently working with a number of public transport operators and have brought mobile tickets to a wide range of smartphones.
