BT has launched a new ‘text relay’ service that’s designed to facilitate telephone conversations for customers with hearing or speech impairments.
It’s the result of an Ofcom mandate to improve the previous text relay service.

BT has announced a new business mobile phone service called BT One Phone. It combines the features of a conventional fixed-line PBX switchboard with mobile technology.
The new service follows the creation of a joint venture earlier this year between Sweden’s OnePhone Holding and BT.

BT has won a Supreme Court ruling that could see it reclaiming millions of pounds from UK mobile network operators.
The case dates back to 2009, when BT announced new termination rates for telephone numbers that began with 08. These rates varied depending on the amount that the originating network charged the caller.
