Cortado, until now best known for its cloud desktop service and wireless printing solution, has announced a new service that combines cloud-based file storage with mobile device management and corporate network access.
Cortado Corporate Server 6.0 enables businesses to offer remote access to staff with iPhones, iPads, Android devices and BlackBerry smartphones. An organisation’s IT department can control devices and user activities without adversely affecting the overall user experience.

As summer approaches, so the media’s interest in mobile phone roaming increases. Once again, the maximum price of calls and texts when abroad in Europe is falling – but this year there’s something different on the horizon. Commercial property management company Land Securities says it plans to offer free WiFi in every one of its 22 shopping centres and 2 outlet centres across the UK through a deal with The Cloud.
It follows the rollout of WiFi at Land Securities’ One New Change and Cabot Circus shopping centres last year.
